Animal Week at Norwood Park

"Animal Adaptations" - the students did an awesome job creating animals with specific adaptations to unique, and sometimes imaginative and fictitious, ecosystems and niches.

Malwina's animal
Zach's animal

Karima's animal

Guess who's animal

Speaker from the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum - Steph brought in some fun boxes of animal skins, skulls, scat, etc. It was a great opportunity for students to learn about animals and their environments and to touch real parts of animals' bodies, something they may not have had the chance to do (or wanted to do! ) before.
